1982年2月毕业于北京钢铁学院冶金系，获工学学士学位；
1984年6月毕业于北京钢铁学院热能工程系，获工学硕士学位；
1988年3月就读于法国洛林理工学院机电高等工程师学校，1993年5月获博士学位，并从事了一年博士后研究工作。
1994年至今在北京科技大学任教，带领“现代传热传质与热物理测试”研究团队。
